New access to the intersection of ancient silk roads
The construction of the new Astana International Railway Station, which forms a critical junction on ancient silk roads, stands at the middle of Europe-Asia highways and will serve as a bridge for Kazakhstan’s capital city; The project is entrusted to Sembol Construction which attracted attention with its successful works in Kazakhstan.
At the crossroads of railway, highway and metro lines, at the crossroads of the main roads of the city, as well as being a major transportation center, the train station which is projected as a special meeting point that attracts attention with its wavy architecture; It is expected to be used by 35.000 people a day during the EXPO.

The project was designed by the famous British architect Sir Norman Foster with whom we has also worked as a solution partner in the waterwaterproofing of KHAN SHATYR – Han Tent, which was opened in 2010 as the world ‘s largest tent in Kazakhstan’ s capital city Astana.
